The «10alamenos9» Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Festival, which this year celebrates its ninth edition, celebrates the already known Nanostory Contest «Many stories fit in the Nanoworld: tell us about them!».

This contest, at the level of the Headquarters of the Community of Andalusia and organized by the Institute of Materials Science of Seville (ICMS) has issued the jury’s decision that will grant recognition to the winners of categories A and B.

The contest aimed at students who are studying in public, subsidized or private centers located in the Community of Andalusia and who are between 14 and 17 years old, has had a great impact in this edition.

Thus, it is established that prizes will be awarded in two categories:
• Category A: participants aged 14 or 15 as of 31/12/2023.
• Category B: participants aged 16 or 17 as of 31/12/2023.

After reading the stories admitted to the competition, and in accordance with the rules, the Jury has decided to award the following prizes:
Category A
– Winner: Pseudonym: Laura Raquel Masferrer Medina (CDP San Juan Bosco).

Category B
– Winner: Deserted

The winning story goes on to compete in the International Phase.
