The first phase of the Scholarship Holder’s Workshop starts on May 3 with twelve researchers

For the second consecutive year, the Centro de Investigaciones Científicas Isla de la Cartuja (cicCartuja) is launching the Scholarship Holder Workshop, a training activity aimed at enhancing the scientific communication skills of young researchers at the beginning of their careers. The Workshop, which will be carried out in two phases, combines a theoretical methodology with lectures and seminars on different topics together with practical classes in which participants will have to develop four key tasks: writing a scientific article, preparing a research project, writing a grant application and preparing an oral presentation.
While the first phase is theoretical in nature, on June 25, the last phase of the Workshop, each student will make a presentation of their work, which will have been previously guided by the tutors assigned to them during the activity.
Given the strong teacher-student interaction that characterizes the Workshop, a reduced number of participants has been agreed upon in order to meet the objective of personalized training. Specifically, this second edition of the Scholar’s Workshop will have twelve doctoral students who have completed their DEA and/or Master’s thesis or researchers who completed their postgraduate studies less than two years ago.
