Equality
The Equality Working Group of cicCartuja is established in accordance with the equality policies implemented by the General Administration of the State and the CSIC, and specifically in line with the Equality Plan of the latter which establishes that “in those Institutes and Centers in which this is considered, equality committees may be established as a good practice policy and on a voluntary basis, with the purpose of promoting the equality policies included in the CSIC Equality Plan in force at all times”.
According to the guidelines for the constitution of the Equality Working Group in the ICUs of the CSIC, this working group should be equal and incorporate members from all sectors of the center’s staff, thus guaranteeing attention to the various situations. of inequality that could occur. The Equality Working Group is not executive in nature, but will act by channeling matters related to this matter to the Board. Its actions must be in line with the CSIC Equality Plan and, as it is a mixed center, it must also be in accordance with the US Equality Plan, in force at all times.
The cicCartuja Equality Working Group has been created with the purpose that our center respects and promotes the policy of equal opportunities in all its activities without distinction of gender, race, ideology, age, emotional-sexual orientation or religion.
