Orestes Rivada, researcher of the Organometallic Molecules Design and Applications Group of the Institute of Chemical Research, has received the Inorganic Chemistry Award from the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla.
Last Thursday, May 18, the RMCS hosted the presentation of the thirty-second edition of the Young Researchers Awards, which it awards jointly with the Royal Seville Academy of Sciences, corresponding to the 2022 call. Each award is endowed with 6,000 euros and is aimed at young researchers under 35 years of age.
The Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla awarded two awards, one of which went to the doctor in Inorganic Chemistry, Orestes Rivada, for his research in the development of molecular compounds and their application in energy storage.

Orestes Rivada has developed his intense scientific career in Israel, Japan and Paris, and is currently assigned to the University of Seville and working at the Institute of Chemical Research. His work has given rise to a significant output that has resulted in various scientific works of quality and international impact.
