The 10alamenos9 Festival’s short story contest is back

On the occasion of the return of the 10alamenos9 Festival for another year, participation is open for the nanostory contest with the aim of continuing to promote interest in the educational community in the world on a nanometric scale (nanomundo), which, being so tiny, is very diverse and interesting.

This contest is aimed at students who are studying in public, subsidized or private schools located in Andalusia, and who are between 14 and 17 years of age as of 12/31/2021.

In order to participate, we leave you the rules of the contest:

The Educational Centres where the two winners study will receive a set of popular books from the collection “What do we know about…” co-published by the CSIC and La Catarata courtesy of the CSIC Delegation in Andalusia. The two works awarded in each competition at the regional level, one per category, will automatically move on to the international phase, to be assessed by a Jury made up of researchers in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, scientific communicators and people from the literary field.
In the international phase, a prize of a TABLET will be awarded for each of the two categories.

Jury
The Jury will be made up of researchers belonging to the Institute of Materials Science of Seville.
The jury’s decision will be made public at the beginning of June and will be communicated to those interested and their schools.
