On February 11, we once again celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, an initiative that we are joining once again this year to eliminate gender stereotypes within the field of science and technology (STEM), to help promote scientific and technological vocations in girls and adolescents and to give greater visibility to the work of female scientists. But most importantly, to understand the causes of the gender gap and promote practices that favor gender equality in the scientific field.
This 2022, 11F celebrates its seventh edition and for this event, activities will be held both in virtual and in-person format. Once again, scientists, researchers and disseminators from all over share their knowledge to transmit their passion for science. On the occasion of the celebration of this very special event, throughout these days our researchers from the IIQ, ICMS and IBVF will once again bring science closer to all audiences.
From talks in such special places as the Caixaforum or talks in regional sports clubs, to visits to schools with scientific experiments for boys and girls in Secondary Education and Baccalaureate. All these activities are collected and can be seen on the website of February 11.
At cicCartuja, from our social networks, we are sharing all the content that is being generated these days.
