The tenth edition of the European Researchers’ Night is coming

For the tenth consecutive year and at the same time as in 371 other European cities, the European Researchers’ Night is coming to Seville. This edition will take place on September 24 and will be very special because we will once again enjoy science in the streets with activities in which researchers, including colleagues from our institutes, will share and explain science to both children and adults.

The CSIC researchers from the IIQ and IBVF institutes who will participate are Ana Borrás, Ana Valladares, Antonio José Márquez, Consolación Álvarez, Ester López, Fernando Núñez, Francisco Javier Aparicio, Irene García, Javier Castillo, Jose Manuel Obrero, Juan Ramón Sánchez, Laura Montes, Lidia Contreras, Rocío López, Paula Navascués, Rosalía Poyato, Teresa Ruíz, Victor Rico, Xabier García or Vanda Godinho. You can find out more about their careers and what they are currently doing here.

The face-to-face activities will be complemented by online activities that can be enjoyed directly through the Fundación Descubre website. In total, there will be more than 650 activities between September 24 and 26, to bring scientists and researchers closer to the general public, demonstrating that science and research are also practical and fun and directly related to everyday life.
