From June 17 to 19, CicCartuja will be present, once again, at the 18th edition of the Science Fair, together with various educational and research centers, museums, university faculties and other scientific institutions that disseminate scientific projects and experiments.

The Science Fair is the main activity developed by the Andalusian Society for the Dissemination of Science (SADC). This edition of the Fair is organized jointly with the Discover Foundation and financed by the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge, Business and University, the Ministry of Education and Sports, as well as the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

Virtually, our three institutes have prepared their stand in which a brief presentation and various videos with scientific experiments and research that are currently being carried out and that are sustainable with the environment are shown (one of the main themes of this year’s Science Fair).

Biofertilizer design, creation of solar cells with nanomaterials and red fruits or molecular cuisine are some of the scientific experiments that the Institute of Plant Biochemistry and Photosynthesis, the Institute of Materials Science of Seville and the Institute of Chemical Research have prepared for this edition.
