Javier Castillo Seoane from ICMS has won the award for the best Master’s Thesis in Materials Science 2019, awarded by the Spanish Society of Materials (SOCIEMAT). Paula de Navascués Garvín, also from ICMS, has been a finalist.
Both works have been carried out in the laboratories of the Surface Nanotechnology and Plasma research group of the Institute of Materials Science of Seville (ICMS). The works were defended by their authors on November 6 at the conference organized by SOCIEMAT in Madrid in relation to the World Materials Day:
Javier Castillo Seoane, Synthesis and Characterization of Three-Dimensional ITO Nanoelectrodes. Tutors: Jorge Gil-Rostra, Ana Borrás and Leidy Marcela Martínez Tejada. Master’s Degree in Science and Technology of New Materials.
Paula de Navascués Garvín, Ferroelectric Barrier Atmospheric Plasmas for CO2 Decomposition. Tutors: Ana Gómez-Ramírez and Agustín R. González-Elipe. Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Plasma, Laser and Surface Technologies.
Both researchers are currently working on their doctoral theses in the line of research in which they completed their TFM at the Institute of Materials Science in Seville, at cicCartuja.
