Margarita Paneque (IIQ) participates in the VII Jornada AMIT-Andalucía

Seville, February 5, 2018. Once again, the Association of Women Researchers and Technologists of Andalusia (AMIT-Andalucía) has launched its conference. This time it is entitled ‘Research training: skills and shortcomings to access the labor market’. This event will be held on February 9 in the CITIUS-2 Assembly Hall (Celestino Mutis Building: Reina Mercedes Campus-University of Seville).

The conference will be attended by members of the university community, such as researcher Margarita Paneque, attached to the Institute of Chemical Research (IIQ) of cicCartuja and general secretary of AMIT-Andalucía. Also attending will be Concepción Yoldi, president of the Social Council of the US, and members of the business community, such as Antonio Sagardoy, general director of Bros Group, a talent identification company. All of them will discuss the situation of research and its job opportunities.

In parallel to the event, AMIT-Andalucía proposed an activity aimed at Master’s and PhD students, which consisted of sending short presentations about their experience in this training stage. At the beginning of the round table, the selected students will present their ideas and the best presentation will receive a prize.
