Seville, October 2, 2017. cicCartuja researchers attached to its three institutes (ICMS, IBVF and IIQ) are once again launching the ‘cicCartuja PhD Talks’ conference series.

Specifically, this activity has been devised by PhD students who are doing their thesis at the center. The program will continue along the lines of its previous edition, with an extensive program of talks where PhD students, including the winners of the Article of the Month, will be able to share their work with attendees, as well as interact with researchers from other institutes.

As a novelty, this edition will also feature the participation of researchers from Cabimer, the National Accelerators Center (CNA), the Doñana Biological Station (EBD) and the Microelectronics Institute of Seville (IMSE-CNM).

‘cicCartuja PhD Talks’ will begin on October 6 at 1:00 p.m. and will take place in the cicCartuja 2 Degree Hall. The project has established itself as an optimal activity to enrich the academic training of future doctors, as it will allow them to face the experience of speaking in public, both in Spanish and English.

This activity will be recognized as formative in doctoral programs, so participants can request diplomas that certify both their attendance and their contribution with a talk. After the talks, which will end around 2:00 p.m., an aperitif will be served at the cicCartuja facilities, so that the experience is as enriching and relaxed as possible.
