Once again, researchers from cicCartuja are taking part in the European Researchers’ Night, an initiative promoted by the European Commission within the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme. The event will take place on 25 September simultaneously in three hundred and fifty European cities.
In Seville, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the University of Seville (US), the Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) and the City Council of Seville have joined forces to offer a joint programme consisting of workshops, micro-meetings and shows designed to seek a relaxed rapprochement between citizens and the scientific community, through fun and informative language.
This unique format offers citizens an opportunity to get closer to researchers and overcome some stereotypes about the scientific profession. And it offers researchers an opportunity to leave their laboratories and show that they are not oblivious to the outside reality.
