The Centro de Investigaciones Científicas Isla de la Cartuja (cicCartuja) and the Federación de Empresarios del Metal (FEDEME) signed yesterday morning a collaboration agreement to facilitate the exchange of information between cicCartuja’s research groups and the Andalusian metal sector companies associated to FEDEME. With the signing of this agreement, cicCartuja will promote its technology and research by disseminating it to interested companies, and FEDEME will provide its members with access to research services that may be of interest to the metal business sector.
By virtue of the agreement signed, thematic meetings will be organised between companies associated with FEDEME and CicCartuja research groups, with the aim of bringing alliances to fruition and establishing effective cooperation links, thus transforming the work of both institutions into social and economic well-being. The signing of this agreement is a further step in the vertical transfer of intellectual capital and know-how for the improvement of resources, products, processes and commercially viable services between a knowledge-generating institution and the productive sector.
