The final appointment for the students and teachers of the Scholar’s Workshop, a training activity organized by the Isla de la Cartuja Scientific Research Center, will be next Monday, June 25 in the Assembly Hall of the Andalusian Center for Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine (Cabimer), located in front of the cicCartuja.
During the day, which will be held in the morning and afternoon, the twelve researchers enrolled as students of the Workshop will present the work carried out as part of the tasks of the first phase, which they attended on May 3 and 4.
On this occasion, Ernesto Carmona Guzmán, Professor at the University of Seville and winner of the Jaime I Prize in 2010, will be in charge of closing the activity with the final conference. He will be accompanied by a group of tutors who, together with the professors, have guided the students’ theoretical and practical work.
The Scholar’s Workshop is a training activity aimed at enhancing the communication skills in science of young researchers at the beginning of their careers. The Workshop combines a theoretical methodology with lectures and seminars on different topics together with practical classes, in which the participants have developed four tasks: writing a scientific article, elaborating a research project, writing a grant application and preparing an oral presentation.
