The NH Plaza de Armas hotel will host the Meeting on Nucleic Acids and Nucleosides, coordinated by the Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas (IIQ). The congress, which is celebrating its eighth edition, will be attended this year by two prestigious speakers, professors Eric T. Kool, from Stanford University (United States), and Richard Lavery, from the Institute of Protein Biology and Chemistry (France). Both researchers are experts in the basic understanding of the interactions and mechanisms of participation of nucleic acids, and in the application of this knowledge in the design of new molecules. These topics will undoubtedly form the backbone of the programme of this meeting.
In addition to these interventions, the conference will also include oral communications presented by other researchers. The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15 April. The registration period for the Meeting is now open and can be formalised through the website http://www.rannviii.ciccartuja.es/.
The Organising Committee of the VIII Meeting on Nucleic Acids and Nucleosides is represented by Empar Vengut Climent, Ricardo Lucas Rodríguez, Juan Carlos Morales Sánchez -all three belonging to the IIQ- and Agustín Vioque Peña, researcher linked to the Institute of Plant Biochemistry and Photosynthesis (IBVF).
