The Carbohydrate Group of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (GEHiC-RSEQ) is organising the 14th RSEQ Carbohydrate Conference, which will take place from 2 to 4 September at the Isla de la Cartuja Scientific Research Centre (Seville).

This conference will provide a forum for sharing the latest research and advances in the cutting-edge fields of glycochemistry, glycobiology and applied glycosciences. The event will cover a wide range of topics, including the synthesis of carbohydrates and derived materials, structural analysis and molecular recognition of carbohydrates, glycobiology and its biotechnological applications. The scientific programme will include 3 plenary lectures and 9 keynote lectures, 22 oral presentations, 15 flash presentations and 2 poster sessions, fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas between experts and early-career researchers.

The General Assembly of the Spanish Carbohydrate Group will also take place during the meeting to plan and discuss future activities.
