Professor Ernesto Carmona inaugurates the 2010-2011 Academic Year of the University of Seville

Ernesto Carmona Guzmán, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry and member of the Institute of Chemical Research, was the professor in charge of delivering the inaugural lecture for the 2010-2011 academic year at the University of Seville. The event, which was held in the auditorium of the University of Seville, began with opening remarks by the Rector Joaquin Luque and the reading of the summary report of the previous academic year by the Secretary General of the University of Seville, Concepción Horgué. Ernesto Carmona then gave the inaugural lecture entitled “Journey to the ends of the periodic table. Light atoms, heavy atoms and nuclear energy”.
