The Institute of Plant Biochemistry and Photosynthesis (IBVF) has presented its program of seminars for the coming months. This cycle will include ten conferences, which will be given by scientists from various international research centers and universities, including the EHT-Zentrum in Zurich (Switzerland), the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot (Israel) and the Faculty of Biosciences of the University of Heidelberg (Germany). These seminars will deal with diverse topics, such as electron transfer in cyanobacteria, intracellular and intercellular trafficking of viral and viroidal RNAs in plants or advances in studies on starch metabolism, among other issues, which are in line with the different lines of research developed by IBVF groups.

All the lectures of this series will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Centro de Investigaciones Científicas Isla de la Cartuja (cicCartuja), between January and April 2012, starting at 12:15 pm.
