ICMS researchers organize the VII Meeting of the Specialized Group on Solid State Physics

Three members of the Institute of Materials Science of Seville (ICMS), belonging to the Isla de la Cartuja Scientific Research Center (cicCartuja), are part of the organizing committee of the next Meeting of the Specialized Group of Solid State Physics of the Spanish Royal Society of Physics. The ICMS researchers are Dr. Teresa Cristina Rojas Ruiz, Dr. Hernán Míguez García and Dr. Asunción Fernández Camacho, who will chair the event. The conference, now in its seventh edition, is organized, according to the organizers, with the aim of “being a forum for discussion and presentation of the most current topics in Solid State Physics at both national and international level”.
To this end, a wide-ranging program has been drawn up to be held between January 25 and 27, consisting of lectures, communications and poster presentations. Among the topics to be discussed by the more than forty invited experts are issues of special interest and topicality for the Physics of Materials, such as, for example, the Physics of Low Dimensional Systems, photonic materials and devices, or advances in microscopy and nanoscopy.
The VII Meeting of the Specialized Group of Solid State Physics will be held at the Rectorate of the Universidad Hispalense.
