Seville, May 28, 2014. The Cartuja Island Scientific Research Centre (cicCartuja) and the Cartuja Business Circle (CEC) signed a collaboration agreement yesterday morning to facilitate the exchange of information between the cicCartuja research groups and the companies associated with the CEC.

The signing of this agreement will allow, on the one hand, to make available to the CEC companies the scientific-technological offers of the cicCartuja groups, and on the other, to make available to the cicCartuja groups the scientific-technological demands of the companies associated with the CEC.

The aim is that once the different profiles of the scientific-technological offers and demands are made known to each other, the interested parties identify common interests and seek joint participation in applications for European projects or in effective collaborations through the signing of contracts.

In this context, it should be noted that CEC is a non-profit, non-political business association made up of companies and public and private entities that carry out their activity in the physical area of ​​the Cartuja 93 Project. By virtue of this agreement, CEC undertakes to identify cicCartuja as a Research Organisation of interest to its associated companies.

The Director, the Manager and the Directors of the three research institutes of cicCartuja, as well as the President, the General Director and the Head of External Management of CEC, participated in the signing of the collaboration agreement.
