Seville, 13 February 2017. cicCartuja researchers attached to its three institutes (ICMS, IBVF and IIQ) will participate in the first edition of ‘cicCartuja PhD Talks’, a scientific outreach activity devised by PhD students who are doing their thesis at the centre.

The project, which will take place every two weeks, will consist of an extensive programme of talks, three per day, where PhD students, including the winners of the Article of the Month, will be able to share their work with attendees, as well as interact with researchers from other institutes.

‘cicCartuja PhD Talks’ will begin on 17 February at 1:30 p.m. and will take place in the cicCartuja 2 Degree Hall. The project, which will end on 23 June, is positioned as an optimal activity to enrich the academic training of future doctors, as it will allow them to face the experience of speaking in public, both in Spanish and English.

After the talks, which will end each day at around 3:00 p.m., an aperitif will be served at the cicCartuja facilities, so that the experience is as enriching and relaxed as possible.
