26 September 2017. The Isla de la Cartuja Scientific Research Centre (cicCartuja) – a joint organisation between CSIC-US-Junta de Andalucía – is hosting the 41st Meeting of the Food Sector Group of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) on 26 and 27 September.

Experts and professionals from all over the world, affiliated with the agriculture and food sector, will participate in this event of business cooperation, innovation and knowledge transfer.

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is a European network of support centres for SMEs in the field of internationalisation, R&D projects and technology transfer. This network is divided into working groups, including the Agri-Food Sector Group, made up of around 100 members from 25 countries.

Over the course of these two days, participants will present their projects, discuss the current situation of the sector and try to establish alliances between regions outside the European Union, such as Latin America.

Almost in parallel, this week the ‘Andalucía Sabor’ fair was also held at the Seville Exhibition and Congress Centre (FIBES), an event held every two years and which has served as a showcase for the Andalusian food sector.
