cicCartuja participates in the program “Science and Technology in the feminine”

Next Thursday, October 25, a new session of the Science and Technology in Feminine Project will take place, an initiative of the APTE (Association of Technology Parks of Spain), in which the PCTCartuja participates to combat the gender gap in scientific and technological professions.
This Thursday, María Pozas Vizoso, Manager of the Isla de la Cartuja Scientific Research Center, and Irene García Fernández, distinguished researcher of the CSIC attached to the Institute of Plant Biochemistry and Photosynthesis (cicCartuja), will participate in a Talk – Colloquium with women scientists and technologists of the PCT Cartuja, in which they will share with the students of the IES Mairena del Aljarafe (Seville) their professional experience in their respective fields.
Students will also be able to enjoy the exhibition “Women who changed the world”, which shows great examples of relevant women in science and technology, and who inspire us all. And the Super Code Girl workshop, taught by How I Learned Code, which serves as an introduction to video game programming.
