Professor Ernesto Carmona, member of the Institute of Chemical Research and Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Seville, has been awarded the European Prize for Organometallic Chemistry 2019 in its third edition.
This prize is awarded by the Division of Organometallic Chemistry of the European Chemical Society (EuChemS). The award is worth 5,000 euros and is given every two years to the best scientific contribution developed in the member countries of the European Union, including Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and Israel.
Professor Carmona thus joins the list of winners, which currently includes professors Malcolm H. Green (Oxford University, United Kingdom) and David Milstein (Weizmann Institute, Israel).
Our dear Ernesto, a top-level researcher, is a prominent member of the IIQ and has been director of cicCartuja, being one of the promoters of the creation of both centers.
