Dr. Juan Cámpora receives the GEQO Award for Research Excellence

The GEQO (Specialized Group on Organometallic Chemistry of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry) awards each year to members of the group who have distinguished themselves for their exceptional contributions to Organometallic Chemistry. One of these awards is the Research Excellence Award, which is given to researchers who have made exceptional contributions in the five years prior to its announcement.

Dr. Juan Cámpora, member, professor and researcher of the IIQ since its inception in 1995, has been awarded this GEQO Award for Research Excellence. This honor is attributed to him for the originality of his contributions aimed at the development of new concepts and applications in the context of organometallic chemistry. Cámpora was also recently Guest Editor for the special issue of the journal Organometallics and is currently focused on the study of the fundamental reactivity of organometallic σ complexes.
