Jesus Campos, new academic of the Young Academy of Spain

Jesús Campos, a researcher in Organometallic Chemistry at the IIQ, belonging to cicCartuja, has been selected from among a large number of candidates to be a new academic, along with 12 other researchers, of the Young Academy of Spain.
The Young Academy of Spain is linked to the GYA (Global Young Academy). An initiative of young Spanish scientists and researchers, who together with the rest of the Young Academies around the world, seek to promote science and make exceptional young people from their country visible, as role models.
In addition, the AJE promotes scientific training through the promotion of knowledge, research and innovation as drivers of economic development, as well as serving as a platform for young researchers who can contribute to promoting knowledge in Spain.
This recognition is the latest that has been awarded to Jesús Campos, but not the first. Despite his youth, he has already accumulated an extensive track record of scientific awards and prizes, among which the Young Researchers Award from the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry also stands out.
