Cabimer leads +ViTA, a project to achieve healthy aging

The multidisciplinary research group of the Andalusian Centre for Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine (CABIMER), a centre of mixed ownership of the CSIC, together with the Junta de Andalucía, US, UPO and Fundación Progreso y Salud, has created the +ViTA project.

This is an initiative in which Dr. Alejandro Martín-Montalvo and his team develop new therapies that help older people to have a healthier ageing. Although life expectancy has been extended to 83 years, this is not linked to good health.

The +ViTA project aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a new metabolic strategy that improves the quality of life during ageing. To develop this interesting project, they are carrying out a crowdfunding campaign through an official platform of the Ministry of Science and Innovation from which you can find out more information and collaborate.
