Gerardo Colón, a researcher at the Institute of Materials Science in Seville, has been appointed as the Specialty Chief Editor of the prestigious journal Frontiers in Nanotechnology, specifically in the Nanomaterials section.

Gerardo belongs to the research group “Materials and Processes for Energy and the Environment” at the ICMSE and currently, he and his group have several open lines of work in the field of Catalysis and Photocatalysis. They study reactions of industrial interest and fuel production, as well as the photocatalytic production of H2. Recently, Gerardo combines his work as a researcher with this new position at Frontiers in Nanotechnology, together with two other international researchers.
