Alejandra Pita Milleiro has been awarded at the XIV SusChem Spain Young Chemical Researchers Awards, in the FUTURA 2022 category for her brilliant career and extracurricular merits. This category is given to the best academic record of a chemistry degree or any other related to chemical science and technologies and whose degree was obtained in 2021.
With a prize of 2,000 euros and one year of membership to SusChem-España and ANQUE, the jury, chaired by Carmen Cartagena (ANQUE), has unanimously decided to award this award to Alejandra who was doing her TFM in the Organometallic Chemistry Group: Structure, Reactivity and Applications (QUIMERA), led by Jesús Campos, at the Institute of Chemical Research. After graduating in Chemistry from the University of Seville and doing her TFM at the IIQ, she has just started a new stage at the Institute, as a doctoral student of the QUIMERA Group as well.
