IBVF researchers reveal key insights into light- and temperature-coordinated signalling in photosynthetic organisms

IBVF researchers Federico Valverde, Francisco Romero-Campero, Christina Arvanitidou and Fernando Rodríguez-Marín, from the “Environmental Regulation and Epigenetics of Plant Development” and “Systems Biology and Biotechnology in Microalgae” groups, have published an article in the prestigious international journal *Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA* (PNAS).

The study, led by CSIC Research Professor Miguel Ángel Blázquez (IBMCP, Valencia), describes the evolution of light- and temperature-coordinated signalling from algae to plants, which helps to understand plants’ response to global climate change and may have significant implications for plant biotechnology.
